Hi friend!

We're so excited that you're in the verbiage stage of your wedding planning journey with us! We're going to walk you through some of the ways to word your save the date and your invitation, so that you don't feel so lost.

Here are some things to keep in mind...

+ you can never go wrong with tradition

+ you can never go wrong by making your own rules (hah, we're SUPER helpful, right?)

+ if your parents are footing the bill, in part or in full, they often times like a mention (and that's customary, but again, you do you)

+ online rsvps are good for more than just your budget (they also help to save the planet, they're easily trackable, they don't get lost in the mail--#worksmarternotharder)

+ addressing 75 envelopes might sound like a good DIY project, but it's not, it's a bitch

+ creating a wedding website is a RAD idea. It's a hub for all things wedding--registry, RSVPs, things to do for out-of-towners, etc. It's another touchpoint to really get your guests excited!

Take a look at some of our favorite save the dates and invitations from our past weddings, and get your creative juices flowin'. And be sure to head to the bottom for a copy and paste section where you can just plug and play for your own save the date and invitation suite.

Let this serve as a basic template for you to tweak...

So, all you need to do is copy the one you like the best, and then start switching things up--names (duh), date (double duh), location (come on, you already know), and all the other things.
