Wild & Unwritten: Welcome Dinner | Mauve, Black, and Gold | Kauai, Hawaii
We had our very own elopement the night of the welcome dinner, which meant two things…
1 | We had to set up in advance.
2 | We couldn’t attend (wahhhhhh).
So we got to the AirBNB and met the beautiful Gina, who is a co-owner of Aloha Fridays. Her team set up the tables, the Aloha bar (SUPER RAD), and the chairs, and we chatted a smidge about her background and the vision for the company. Guys, the worked side-by-side a local carpenter to make these and they learned all the things when it came to staining—we’re gonna show you how beautiful these tables are that we got to use all week soon!
Peyton and Kylie essentially said “We thought using mauve, black, and gold would be pretty! And we want it to be a little PNW meets Hawaii.” So we ran with it. We had the perfect mauve napkins, black candlestick holders and gold flatware. We mashed the two vibes by using some macramé runners and tropical leaves in bud vases with more modern chargers and some quicksand roses (hello stunning).
We were proud, and seeing all of the stories posted from the attendees that night had our hearts soaring! Take a look!
