Amanda + Heeva // Styled Shoot // Bixby + Pine

Imagine our excitement when Wedding Paper Divas contacted us and asked us to design and style a shoot that had no boundaries (hello, a designers dream!). We played with textures on the table with a food centerpiece, had plenty of wine, and some curated details to tie it all together. The invitation is most certainly one of our favorite parts. We love that the bride is wearing a print as well!

ANGELICA + ZACH // DAIRYLAND // SNOHOMISH WEDDING PLANNERS AND DESIGNERS // BIXBY + PINE

When Angelica and Zach got engaged, we were so ready for them to become an official #bixbyandpinecouple. We knew it was going to happen because Angelica and Taylor are friends (thank you to the Miss America Organization for that!) and they were both waiting for the day.

TATTOOS, TACOS, AND TEQUILA // PNW WEDDING DESIGNERS // BIXBY + PINE

For the past year we have chatted about getting a matching tattoo...one problem, we are picky and opinionated. For the first few months we would throw out an idea just for the other three to shut it down (real nice of them, huh). We knew it had to be meaningful to us but we also wanted it to capture two decades of a friendship and the many more  that we have to come.

WHY DO YOU DO SO MANY STYLED SHOOTS? // BRAND-BUILDER STYLED SHOOT // PNW WEDDING DESIGNERS // BIXBY + PINE

Hello friends!

A couple of weeks ago, we rehauled and revamped our website, thanks to one of the raddest girl bosses we know, Sarah of Letter + Line Studio. She took our vision, and then made it even better--she came up with new ideas that had each of us jumping for joy and chomping at the bit with excitement.

In addition to redoing the website, we (officially) added some more offerings to our repertoire.

RATTLESNAKE LEDGE SURPRISE PROPOSAL // PNW WEDDING DESIGNERS // BIXBY + PINE

You guys. A couple of months ago, a photographer named Catie of Catie Coyle Photography reached out to us, and are we glad she did. She's a California girl who now calls Washington home with her husband.

Part of why we offer our brand-builder styled shoots is because we LOVE the WHO and the WHY behind creatives, and you can read more about our brand-builders in the coming weeks. When Catie sat down and typed out WHO her ideal client was, our hearts literally sang.

THROWBACK: OUR FIRST OFFICIAL B+P WEDDING // PNW WEDDING DESIGNERS // BIXBY + PINE

Hey friends!

We are taking it back to our very first, official B+P wedding...which happened two years ago TODAY. Heidi + Jeff took a leap of faith on us, and boy were we happy they did! They had invitations printed, we met at The Loft in Poulsbo to find out how we could be of help, and they had NOTHING planned. Oh, we forgot to mention that was about two months out from their big day. So, they quickly contracted with us and we immediately got to work.

THE C-WORD // PNW WEDDING DESIGNERS // BIXBY + PINE

No...not that 'C' word guys!!!

Hey guys, it's Jordan. Earlier this month #thegirlsofbp were hit with some pretty big news that kind of made us stop in our tracks. I got a call letting me know I had cancer...yes, that 'C' word. Nothing can properly prepare you for hearing those words.

The doctors found a lump on the left side of my thyroid and after doing a biopsy we found out that it was malignant (cancerous). The lump is two and a half centimeters big and that makes it a pretty big one. They will remove my entire thyroid and I will be on a thyroid supplement for the rest of my life.

There are so many things left unknown at this point BUT one thing we do know is that it's definitely time to get this out of me!!!! Today is the day for me...today is my surgery day! So many answers will come out of this day, so many unknowns will begin to be known! More biopsies will be done, full body scans are coming soon, and lots of follow up appointments will be scheduled.

WE GOT STYLED BY ARI // PNW WEDDING DESIGNERS // BIXBY + PINE

Guys…I want to tell you about something really fun that we got to do. We got to work with a stylist for our newest website photos that Lora Grady Photography took of us!!

Ari from Style by Ari was uh-mazing to us!! We learned about her when a friend of ours, Tonie Christine, got to work with her. You can read about her experience here.

So, basically we fell in love with this idea and knew we needed to reach out to Ari. You guys…she was fantastic!! We are a lot to handle, the four of us, and she didn't even skip a beat. She facetimed with us and reviewed all of our Pinterest boards so she could get a good grasp on exactly what our style was! We are all super similar, but with our own twist on things

CHRISTMAS IN JULY: A SUMMER SOIREE` // PNW WEDDING DESIGNERS // BIXBY + PINE

Friends! I'm SUPER pumped to share this with you: CHRISTMAS. IN. JULY.

Let me explain...I am the most Christmas-gift-giving kind of person. Like. Color coded lists. Shopping months in advance and even all year round. Gift wrap that matched with perfect ribbon to adorn it. Cam and I love to find THE perfect gift for people (when I say Cam and I, I mostly mean ME!).

Two years ago, it was December 23rd, my birthday, and I realized we hadn't done anything at all. No gifts. No beautifully wrapped presents. Nothing. Then, the 24th came, and still nothing. NOTHING.

Y'all. We. Freaking. LOVE. bridal sessions.

The South has got it right friends. SOOOO many brides head to a beautiful location a day or so before their wedding and just get to know their photographer and feel beautiful. It doesn't get much better than that? Like, think about it...beautiful details, your gown, hair and make up, your ring, ahhhhhhhhhhhh, thinking about it makes us swoon.

To encourage our brides (and others) to get bridal sessions done, we put together this portrait session with Lora Grady Photography, at the BEAUTIFUL old missile shelter in Manchester State Park. So, take a look at what we put together!
