Hi friends!

When Angelica and Zach got engaged, we were so ready for them to become an official #bixbyandpinecouple. We knew it was going to happen because Angelica and Taylor are friends (thank you to the Miss America Organization for that!) and they were both waiting for the day.

Angelica and Zach are modern day homesteaders, and they care about our planet (hello amazing couple!). While they realized the importance of their wedding day, they also realized the importance of building a life beyond a wedding, and guys, that makes our hearts SOAR. See, even though we're wedding planners and designers, and we LOVE the details and all the pretty shit, we think it's important to remember that this is only one day, and you have many more ahead of you as a couple, as a team. So when Ang and Zach expressed their desire to be sustainable, eco-conscious, and do it all debt-free...and yup, you guessed it, we did a happy dance because they understood the value of a relationship and a future.

Okay, we'll stop gushing over them now (no, we probably won't...), but we'll move on to the details of their wedding. We had a fun time designing their wedding day because they pretty much said "Here's the general ideas we have, here's the budget, now have fun!" And guys, we did just that! We took their budget and made every penny count.

The details are simple but beautiful, and more importantly, they reflected Angelica and Zach. The centerpieces were actual strawberry plants in planter boxes that they took home and use to this day! The invitations were made on plantable seed paper. The florals were from local farms. You catch our drift?

With one of the best vendor teams we've ever worked with, the day went off without a freaking hitch--it even stopped raining (which was GREAT because, being that we were in an old barn, there were holes in the ceiling causing some leakage and wet spots on the floor--hence Taylor with the broom and bucket down below). Be sure to check out the vendor list at the bottom, because if you're getting married, chances are you want some of these people on your team!
