As you know, one of our favorite things about the wedding community is the relationships we build with other creatives, and during this elopement, we had the chance to work with several wonderful vendors.
As we were dreaming up this concept, we couldn't quite land on what was going to be special or unique about this shoot. We had gone through two or three other color palettes, different venue options, and so much more. We are SO PLEASED with what we ended on, and we adore how the soft sherbet and blush colors mix perfectly with navy and raspberry.
Brittney + John have been together since MIDDLE SCHOOL Y'ALL! That's not even an exaggeration...they really have! When Tonie Christine became involved, we knew she was going to make magic happen. THEN, we found out she was bringing her brain twin, Kate, and we just about lost our ish! TWO INCREDIBLY TALENTED PHOTOGRAPHERS?! How will we keep our excitement in check so we don't come off as CRAZY stalker fans?!
You see, we've known Tonie for several years (Taylor was a bridesmaid in her Ireland wedding), so working with her is ALWAYS delightful and full of spunk. Kate's personality is sweet and laid back, so it was the perfect combination.
Unique & Chic Event Rentals and Design provided the beautiful pink settee, the adorable little sherbet vintage chair, as well as the wood chairs that were a great addition to the table setting.
Brenna Adams at La Bella Vita did Brittney's make up, and is SO much fun to work with. Her personality is bigger than life itself, and she LOVES on you constantly. She used her skills to make Britt look gorgeous, don't you agree?!
Also from La Bella Vita, Alicia Summers came to do Britt's hair. A bunch of curls and a fun braid down the side of her head (thanks Pop Sugar Beauty for the idea!), and Brittney was ready to go. Alicia is quickly becoming our go-to girl for any and all things hair.
TWO GOWNS?! Yeah! Nikki from Le Salon Bridal wasn't just the transporter of the gowns, she was there to make sure it laid right, fit right, sat right, and so much more. She. Is. An. Absolute. Rockstar. These Julie Vino gowns literally make us drool...this is not a joke. These gowns paired brilliantly with the Heidi Hull Designs earrings John picked out for Brittney as a sweet gift before the evening began.
Rentals were easy with Grand Event Rentals in Bellevue. Email the order, pick up, drop off...done! Jill is great to work with and the selection is HUGE!
If you haven't made a trip to this side of the water (Kingston), then you have to...and as you come up from the ferry, stop by Sweet Life Cakery. Not only are the desserts DELICIOUS (try their signature gourmet Ding Dong), their storefront is SUPER ADORABLE!
To all of the vendors, thank you, from the bottom of our hearts!
Now, the time has come where you get to enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at our day and some sneak peeks, too!
