TEASER ALERT: Elegant Pacific Northwest Shoot
A behind-the-scenes look at our shoot with so many talented vendors!
So, our favorite thing about the wedding community is the relationships we build with other creatives. One way we meet a lot of other awesome people is through our styled shoots.
In this shoot we got to work with the AMAZING Samantha McFarlen of Samantha McFarlen Photography as well as Kingston House, Beautifully Polished, Unique & Chic Event Rentals and Design, Private Label Bridal, and MeaMarie Bridal Salon. Be sure to stop by their social media sites and say hi!
We love how the classic black and white décor interacts with the lush greenery at the Kingston House. The grounds at this place are fabulous people, and huge, and growing by the day! Their new covered area should be done any day now!
Attention brides, if you are getting married in the Pacific Northwest and you don’t have a photographer yet, check out Samantha McFarlen Photography, like seriously. Not only was she an absolute joy to work with but she has a killer eye. She brought out the best in the couple and knew exactly how to make everybody feel comfortable and confident (including us!).
Holly from Unique & Chic Event Rentals and Design is a new local business and she has some killer pieces. Like a fireplace mantle and vintage settee, hello beautiful!
Kelly Storm at Beautifully Polished is a makeup goddess and we can always trust her to do something better than we could have imagined!
Can we talk about this dress for a moment please?! Atelier Pronovias is one of our favorite dress lines and the floating illusion lace back is just fabulous (insert multiple heart eyes emojis here). MeaMarie Atelier has a beautiful show room downtown Kirkland, WA and those girls really know what they are doing!
Our models, Erin and Tom have been married for a few years now and the way he looks at her in these photos…swoon! (P.S. Erin is a graphic designer too! Look for her work in an upcoming styled shoot!) And the beyond cool getaway car, yeah, that is Erin’s dad’s car and we think we need one for every shoot we ever do!
Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this shoot a thing of pure beauty. We can’t wait to work with you all again in the near future! Enjoy these teasers from this black and white shoot and let them inspire you!
STAY TUNED because WE ARE BEING FEATURED on a couple of blogs in the coming weeks and we will release a post with our favorite shots from that day and the details that go along with them including the inspiration and more on each vendors' contributions.
For now, enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at our day and some sneak peeks at the end :)
