Our Story

Sheesh, where to even begin?! Let's start at the beginning, it only feels natural, right?!

We met at daycare. Yep, we were in second, third, and fourth grade and our parents didn't know it then, but it was one of the best decisions ever--because soon we'd become the best of friends, staying weeks at a time at each others' houses.

In July of 2013 our friend was getting married--it was July and she wanted a winter wedding and she was starting her first year of med school. So with only five months to plan and design her big day, we got to work (while she studied hard!). We executed that wedding with only good organization skills and with some simple party planning as a background.

As we were driving home late at night, we just knew this is exactly what we're supposed to be doing and even better, we knew we were called to do it together!

So we locked ourselves in a room and brain-dumped company names, sketched out branding ideas, and talked about what we would offer and how we would do it all.

Bixby + Pine was born on January 9th, 2014. And what a precious little baby she was.

Our Philosophy

B+P isn't just a company or a brand, it's an extension of who we are, as humans, which means our personal thoughts, beliefs, and philosophies bleed over into our business thoughts, beliefs, and philosophies.

At the core of who we are, we value relationships and experiences most--and it's kinda perfect that we fell into weddings, because they're basically experiences to celebrate relationships.

At the top of our priority list is the experience you two have planning your wedding, your guests' experience on your wedding day, and your experience (and ability) to soak in every single moment (cuz it's gonna go so fast).

Taylor, Ashley, and Jordan are AMAZING!! They helped style and plan our elopement in Kauai and added so much beauty and ease to our elopement day.

I've never been very good at styling but always admire the art that it adds onto wedding days, and it was an honor to have florals, picnics, and lay flats designed by these lovely ladies. They made sure we felt so taken care of on our elopement day, and it was so cool showing up to lunch or dinner to a surprise - like a cute little sweetheart table picnic on the beach or a pizza dinner outside of our cottage with string lights and stars. And not to mention, my bouquet was SOO dreamy. If you're looking to add some style and art to your wedding day or have help planning by a team of amazing artists, Bixby + Pine is worth every penny!
